Yes, I walked on hot coals!
This was the first night, at about 12:30AM. I honestly did not think we were going to have to do this at this event because I had heard there was some controversy around this practice. Well at about 10:30PM Tony starts talking about changing our state so we can overcome our fears of things - like walking on HOT COALS, no lie! I wanted to leave. There was definitely some fear and concern.
Sure enough the focus, the movement, the words like say yes! changed my state, and there I was with my daughter and about ten thousand other people outside at midnight to conquer the coals.
The amazing part is I had no fear, nor did those around me. Those coals were burning so hot, I believe two thousand degrees! They could melt metal...and I did it! I felt ecstatic, mostly because I did something that I viewed as nearly impossible. As I sat in the hotel and looked at my feet, I cried and laughed with joy thinking I can do anything!
We have to change the way we feel to change the way we think! This relates to all areas of our life. So many people just let their life happen to them because they feel lost, sad, unhappy, powerless or angry. Changing the way we feel by changing our state allows us to then change the way we think. We can create, focus, plan our best life and come up with ways to getting what we want!
